Terms of Service
These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the HomeHero application and services ("Service") operated by HomeHero ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
HomeHero is a home inventory management application available on Android, Linux, and web. The Service allows you to track items, locations, tasks, photos, and files related to your household.
2. Accounts
You can use HomeHero without an account. All core features work with data stored locally on your device. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
3. Free Tier
The free tier provides full access to all core features with data stored locally on your device. No account is required. The free tier has no time limit and no feature restrictions on core functionality.
4. Paid Subscriptions
Paid tiers (Sync and Premium) are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

- Sync: $2 CAD/month
- Premium: $5 CAD/month
Prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and may be subject to change with reasonable notice.
5. Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with a paid subscription, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal by contacting us at contact@homehero.pro. Refunds are processed through Stripe and returned to your original payment method. Lifetime purchases, where offered, are refundable within 30 days.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. After cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Your data remains on your device regardless of subscription status.
7. Your Data
You own your data. We do not claim any ownership over the content you create in HomeHero. When you use sync features, we store your data on our servers solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Store illegal content
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The offline-first design means you can access your local data regardless of server availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
